Application Program for the Calculation of Shaft Hub Connections

The application supports the dimensioning - and verification calculation of shaft hub connections as:

• Bilateral split hub connections
• Unilateral split hub connections
• Press - shrink connections
• Cone press connections
• Flat - and tapered key connections
• Tangential keys connections
• Splined connections
• Locking assemblies
• Pincer ring connections

User Interface

ShaftHubLock is a multi-lingual application for Microsoft Windows. The user can select a language for the user interface and output out of:

• Dutch
• English
• French

The user interface is very user friendly: the application guides the user through each calculation sequence.

Identification of a Calculation Project

At the start of a new calculation project a dialog box is being opened for input of some data for the identification of the calculation project. This dialog box contains edit controls for input of: order, project, subproject, item, ID shaft and hub, calculated by, organization, and date of calculation. A text box is also provided to hold a short note about the calculation project.
